Illustration workshops conceived and conducted as part of the exhibition: La Villa Baizeau in Carthage by Le Corbusier and Jeanneret, The Relevance of Simple Architecture.

I was excitedly approached to design a creative illustration workshop centered around Villa Baizeau, highlighting the legacy left by the renowned architect Le Corbusier in Tunisia. Le Corbusier, an emblematic figure of 20th-century architecture, left a complex and innovative legacy. His universe, often described as « inexpressible, » transcends conventional words to convey a forward-thinking vision where functionality, simplicity, and harmony lie at the core of his approach.

I envisioned creative illustration workshops around this theme to offer participants of all ages an opportunity to explore this creative and bold vision of architecture and to spark their curiosity. Participants were invited to engage with Le Corbusier’s concepts and express their advocacy for the valorization of neglected heritage belonging to the public domain.
